Tryst with languages

Finding a topic to write about really needs utter observation... Does it mean that non-writers are non-observers? No, and opposite too is false.

My tryst with learning Kannada continues since last 4 years... Is the language tough? No, as this feature of my brain is very slow (the rote learning aspect). Can't remember words, can't create sentences....

What I found initially, first 2 years, is that, my pattern of creating sentences was wrong... I was decrypting kannada by 1 to 1 mapping to English sentences... Not that my English is weak, but 1 to 1 mapping for English nouns, pronouns, verbs, does not exists... So, found that there exists 1 to 1 mapping between Hindi sentences and kannada sentences does exist.... This fact eased my journey... People whom I asked about this language never told me this fact... It accelerated my learning a lot... I also see close connection with Hindi sentences because... Hindi, Kannada are mostly derived from Sanskrit.. hence the similarity... Whatever "Akshay Kumar from Namastay London say that 'matra' word in sanskrit, lead to word 'mother' in English", in fact this analogy does not work good while learning a new language...

Nowadays, though I can't converse (neither can I converse efficiently in English, Hindi, Marathi)... i can write KanEngl (spelt as "kanengal" my term, where in we write kannada in English) better. Some of the text I will demonstrate... (people knowing kannada might understand)..
- yen hosa samachara? - Kannada (kya naya samachar hai? - Hindi)
- Neenu Hegge Iddira ? - Kannada (Tum Kaisay ho? - Hindi)
- Bus no. ippatha ondu yelligay hogi? - Kannada (Bus no. 201 kaha jaati hai? - Hindi)
- Nanage kannada gottu - Kannada (Mujhe kannada aati hai? - Hindi)
- Tarkari beda - kannada (Sabji mat-do? - Hindi)
- Nimma ma maneilla? (Tumhari ma ghar-mei nahi hai kya? - Hindi)

Of course, these are not from the book, I tried creating some simple sentences... there are more to it...

Though I am happy with Hindi songs... but Kannada songs are again difficult to understand...

In between, Recently saw a Telugu song from "Boys movie".. "Ale Ale"... please watch this song... see the choreography... "sakkat dance..."
